from the boat ramp off Colwell's Lane, the next inlet east from here (next to the Isle au Haut
ferry pier)

Cormorants, herring gulls and Black Guillemot (in the water) gathered on and
around a rock outcrop
in East Penobscot Bay, Maine. Also saw seals and a porpoise, but they
didn't wait for their portraits.

lobster buoy is of German descent . . .

of Deer Isle. It was featured in the films, Finding Home

Rob giving me some sailing tips...um, pointers. I got a
'tip' the day before when a gust of wind hit the sail and
brought the starboard gunwale below the water line. Didn't capsize, but
some water did get into the boat.

A spider set out its web / net / sail overnight, took on some early
morning dew & caught some bugs — kinda like lobsterin'.
