Invite to the New Crib

The BAD NEWS

Sin's got you on lockdown 'n God's Law is gonna keep you out of His holy Heaven.

Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin,
so that what was promised,
being given through faith in Jesus Christ,
might be given to those who believe.
Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law,
locked up until faith should be revealed.
Galatians 3:22-23 NIV

The GREAT NEWS

God's Love provides the possibility of your pardon through a real and living Person.

For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish,
but have eternal life.
John 3:16 NASB

For there is one God,
and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all,
to be testified in due time.
1 Timothy 2:5-6  KJV

Jesus said to him,
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father, but through Me.
John 14:6  NASB

The NEED for ACTION NEWS

Being God's child isn't automatic -- you gotta receive His Son to become one. 

He came to His own,
and those who were His own did not receive Him.
But as many as received Him,
to them He gave the right to become children of God,
 even to those who believe in His name.
John 1:11-12 NASB

The GLAD / SAD / MAD NEWS

God takes it real Personal in what you believe about -- and do with -- His Son.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,
but whoever rejects the Son will not see life,
for God's wrath remains on him.
John 3:36 NIV

Anyone who does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar,
because he has not believed the testimony God has given about His Son.
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
1 John 5:10b-12 NIV

You gotta move on this 'cause Moving Day's comin' soon.

A big housecleaning is coming      and everyone's got to relocate.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief.
The heavens will disappear with a roar;
the elements will be destroyed by fire,
and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
2 Peter 3:10 NIV

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,
for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,
and there was no longer any sea.

Your relocation is permanent: either God's Holy Heaven or a horrific hell.

'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things,
while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.
And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed,
 so that those who want to go from here to you cannot,
nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
Luke 16:25-26 NIV

Father God doesn't want you exiting & existing apart from Him forever.
He loves ya and came Personally to spring ya from having to go there.

He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (a change of heart).
2 Peter 3:9 NIV

But remember, this thing ain't automatic.
You gotta personally respond to His invite.

Take the shot.
Talk it through with Him.
Transact with Him.
Your spot in His New Crib depends on it.
Please don't ya miss out on it.
He 'n we love ya too much for that.

Lord Jesus, I gotta move on this if You're gonna save me.
I know I messed up.  I've sinned and I been sinned against.
It may be their bad, but I need You now to deal wit' my bad.
I gotta look to You, 'cause You're the Only One Who's truly good.
I believe You when You say You love me,
and You proved it when You poured out Your life's blood to save me from my sin.
Even if I was the only one around, I believe You would have come
'n died 'n be raised again to life jus' for me.
Have mercy on me, a sinner -- I want right now to receive You as my Savior,
so You can receive me as Your child.
Forgive me all my sin.  Send it away.
Deal with my wayward heart, my warrin' soul and my willful spirit.
I give You my wounded humanity.
Cleanse me with the blood You said You shed for me.
I now invite You to come into my heart -- and my world -- and make yourself right at home.
Make me Your brand new creation.
Thank You for saving me.
